Application for 12th NUH Project Committee 2012/13

Dear Volunteers

 

A warm welcome to all current and new incoming members of NVAC NUH Project 2012/13!

 

I would like to inform you all that NVAC NUH Project is now recruiting members for our 12th Project Committee for the NUH regular project.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate, and committed to volunteering and serving the student body.

The positions open for application include the following:

1. Vice Project Directors (5 positions, each for the respective divisions)

2. Secretary

3. Publicity Director

4. Events Director

Hi all!

The registration for this coming semester volunteering project is now open. If you are keen to volunteer at NUH this semester, please kindly fill up this online registration form by 31th August 2012 (Friday) no later than 5PM. Please click this link to register:

Volunteering sessions/slots and the timings are as follows:

Adolescence Ward: Tue, Wed, Thurs 3.30pm-5.30pm

Children Clinic: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri 10am-12pm

Children Ward: Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri, Sat 10am-12pm

Adult Ward: Mon, Tue, Wed 5pm-7pm

Psychiatric Ward: Tue, Wed, Thurs, Sat 4-6pm

Training dates for new volunteers are as follows:
-children ward or clinic is 8 Sep (sat), 10-12pm
-adult ward is 8 Sep (sat), 12-2pm
-adolescence ward is 7 Sep (fri), 6-8pm

** Training session for psychiatric ward has yet to be confirmed.

For those interested in volunteering at children ward, clinic or adult ward, please keep 8 Sep free while those interested in volunteering at adolescence ward, try to keep 7 Sep (6-8pm) free for the training.

NVAC welcome tea is this thursday (23 Aug) from 1730-2100 hours at Faculty of Science, LT25. Do come and learn more about NVAC NUH project and the other projects in NVAC! :)

Dear Volunteers,

We have officially come to the end of the semester's volunteering at NUH! 

On behalf of the committee, I would like to thank you for your commitment and service to the NUH community. I hope that you have enjoyed the volunteering process, despite the minor hiccups that might have appeared along the way. 

Please do join us again for another semester's of volunteering starting in January 2012! There will be a new round of recruitment, so do look out for the announcement on our NVAC NUH Yahoogroups/Facebook/Blog. 

There will not be any volunteering activity during the holidays, but we do have an annual Christmas event organised for the NUH patients. More details will be released at a later date. We hope that you will be able to join us in this event. Do keep a look out for the announcement!

Lastly, just a gentle reminder to all session leaders: Please remember to submit your attendance sheet to your respective Vice Project Director by 19 November. Do refer to your earlier emails for the attached attendance records template. Your Vice Project Directors' email addresses are as follows:
